You are cordially invited to be our guest at “the lake.”

This charming, completely renovated, 4 season, three-bedroom, WATERFRONT cottage is just two miles from the hamlet of Honeoye, NY.

The first floor is an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen, attractive dining area and comfortable living room, all with spectacular views of Honeoye Lake. Also, on the first floor you will find one bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath with a walk-in shower plus laundry room.

The second floor offers a second bedroom with two twin beds, a third bedroom with a queen bed, two chairs for relaxing and another full bath with walk in shower.

We provide all towels and bed linens. Beds will be made for you.

We have worked hard to create a quaint lake-cottage feel with modern amenities located on a quiet lane/neighborhood.

We purchased “the lake” in October 2021 and what began as a fixer-upper became a complete renovation … adding two full baths, new floors, stairs, trim, full kitchen, heat/air, 3 televisions, ceiling fans and all new furnishings. It’s been quite a journey but now it’s time to share our “happy place” with others.

A typical day at “the lake” begins with coffee on our spacious covered porch watching the sunrise, and in the evening enjoying a glass of wine or reading a book or just enjoying the views in the Adirondack chairs on the shore.

Fall and Winter are absolutely stunning here with the changing Autumn leaves on the hills surrounding the lake, and when snow falls in Winter, it’s just magical.

Honeoye offers several places to poke around, shop and dine … many offers music on the weekends, even in the Winter. But nothing beats just grilling at “the lake” with family and friends, enjoying a fire in the evening and relaxing.

The Finger Lakes Region offers many New York wineries, breweries, festivals, shops, antiques, parks, and hiking trails … all within minutes of the cottage, and ice fishing is some of the best in the state.

If downhill or cross-country skiing is your thing, Hunt Hollow and Bristol Mountain Ski Resorts are within 10 minutes, and cross-country skiing is great on the completely frozen lake in Winter. All 4 seasons are amazing here, so come visit!

You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay.
